Get to Know Jesus through Pictures! 🐑

Psalm 23- The Lord is my Shepherd?

If you are just starting to wonder about Jesus, try reading Psalm 23 every day for one week.  Pray before you read, "Jesus, help me see."

Each day write down just one thing you notice about Jesus and how He treats His own.

How many pictures do you see in the psalm?  How many promises can you find?  

What are the promises you would like to experience?

After reading and considering Psalm 23, is Jesus someone you want to get to know better?  

Are you willing to follow Him?  

Ask Him, "Jesus, I want to know you as a Good Shepherd.  Will you help me?  What is one step I am to take?  Please show me the way forward."

"My sheep hear my voice..."

Jesus declares that He is a Good Shepherd in the Book of John Chapter 10.  The Book of John is one of the 4 Gospels that tells the Good News of Jesus.

How many pictures can you find in His words below?  What does He promise?  Hint: There are at least 10 images or scenes He describes.

John 10:7-11 Therefore, Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 

Ask Jesus, "Jesus help me understand what you promise to rescue me from.  Give me ears to listen.  Where is the thief stealing from me?  Help me see and understand.  Amen."
