Knowing Jesus as Wonderful Counselor- Isaiah 9:6

We spend a lot of time meditating... by ourselves.

We process constantly.  We are consumed with thinking through things, analyzing, wondering, questioning, doubting, condemning, judging, etc.

That is not God's way.

Jesus wants us to process with Him. He wants to counsel our souls to peace and promise.

You need His counsel!!!

Proverbs 20:5 says The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters,
    but one who has insight draws them out.

Deep waters here means unsearchable, mysterious, overwhelming waters.

These waters are symbolic of our troubled souls.  These troubling waters are fueled by lies, doubts, fears, etc.  When we don't process with Jesus we will act, speak, think, and feel from the lies, doubts, fears, anger, etc.  We are often battling through these type of deep waters in our own power.  This leads to exhaustion and feeling like we are drowning.  

It doesn't have to be this way.  If you are willing to open up to Jesus, He can counsel you and rescue and deliver and raise you up.

Proverbs 20:27- The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord
    that sheds light on one’s inmost being.

Our human spirits are the place where the light of Jesus is supposed to shine and shed light.  Our spirits are deep waters.  They are unsearchable.  Only God can shed light within our spirit to heal, transform, and overcome the darkness.

He promises that the waters of your soul and the storms of life will not overwhelm you.  Why?  Because He will be with you, Isaiah 43:2.  But you have to open up and talk to Wonderful Counselor.

• I help you pray scripture and declare His promises.
• I help you slow down and enjoy His presence.

God counsels, heals, and fills!  He supernaturally transforms, gives direction, breakthrough, strength, comfort, power!
 You are to know Him as WONDER-FILLED, WONDERFUL COUNSELOR!!!
 
I pray you would be excited to spend this kind of time with God!  He has something just for you!  He wants to counsel you!

He sees you and He will reward you as you spend time with Him in the secret place. 

Matthew 6:6- But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
